Check the Safety Equipment
Before starting your trip, make sure you know where the life jackets, rescue equipment, and fire extinguisher are located. Children and passengers who cannot swim should always wear a life jacket while on board.
Take a Fully Charged Mobile Phone
Bring at least one fully charged mobile phone with you, along with a charging cable. A phone is important for communication, navigation support, and emergencies during your boat trip.
Keep Distance From Swimmers and the Coast
Always keep a safe distance from beaches, swimmers, rocks, and shallow areas. When approaching the shore or a swimming spot, reduce your speed and be extra careful with the engine in shallow water.
Stop the Boat Safely Before Swimming
Before anyone enters the sea, the captain must make sure the boat is securely anchored and the engine is completely turned off. Always check that the anchor is holding properly before swimming.
Stay Clear of Moving Boats
Never swim or drive your boat across the front of another moving vessel. Keep a safe distance, remain visible, and wait until the other boat has passed before continuing.
